Kelly is a classically trained actor with a modern edge. Having a solid background in ballet, opera and Shakespeare she has mastered the art of focus and discipline. Studying and working with The Atlantic Theater Company in NYC she is no stranger to gritty, conversational realism and moment to moment artistry. She perfectly at home with prate-falls and fight choreography or truly vulnerable, personal connections. A graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company's Professional Conservatory. She was last scene with them in their production of Our Town (Mrs. Gibbs) directed by Paul Urcioli and 11 Short Plays by Inge (The Girl) directed by Josh Lewis. Her most recent credits include Hamlet (Gertrude) with Orpheus Productions and four person Romeo and Juliet (Friar Laurence, Lord/Lady Capulet, Benvolio, Apothecary and Tybalt) with the Aurelia Theater Company. Prior to her time with the Atlantic she studied at University of Leeds at Bretton Hall in the UK where she was also in a production of Romeo & Juliet (Prince Escalus and Apothecary) and the University of Memphis were she appeared in Sight Unseen (Patricia), The Shape of Things (Evelyn) and The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor), among others; performances which garnered her not only the University of Memphis Award for best actress but also The Ostrander or Memphis Theater Award for best leading actress in a drama.
